Dear members,
Today we have closed individual registrations to attend the Conference on the 25th anniversary of the Harare Declaration on the health district strategy which will be held in Dakar, Senegal from 21 to 23 October.
We are proud that many African and international experts have shown their personal interest in this event and are already registered to attend the conference. However, we would like to secure enough places for delegations from African countries. Under the leadership of their Ministries of Health, they are being organized with the support from respective technical and financial partners.
The room where the conference will be held is set for 130 persons – we are worried that this limit has been already exceeded.
However, if still available places, we may be able to accept new registrations. We will then encourage applications from DMOs (district medical officers).
We would like to inform to all CoP members who will be in Dakar that they will be involved either as session facilitator/reporter/ moderator or as contributors to the final report of the conference. As a reminder, we would also like to stress on your commitment to write a blog to be published on the different platforms of our CoP HSD.
We are delighted to see that this conference shapes as a turning point for our CoP.
We will keep you posted on the latest development.
The organizing committee.
we look forward to this great learning opportunity especially from African Field experiences.
